Obadiah

Obadiah proclaims the LORD’s sentence against proud Edom: though they nest among the stars, allies will betray them and their fortress heights will fall because they gloated over Judah’s calamity, looted the city, and handed fugitives to enemies. On the coming Day of the LORD Edom—and all nations—will reap what they have sown, consumed like stubble, while a delivered remnant on Zion will possess Edom’s land and other territories. Israel (the house of Jacob) will blaze like fire, Esau’s house will have no survivors, and the restored kingdom will belong to the LORD.
