Ephesians

Praise for every spiritual blessing in Christ—chosen, redeemed, and sealed by the Spirit; Paul prays that believers grasp the hope, riches, and power displayed when God raised Christ and seated Him above all rule.

Once dead in trespasses and under Satan’s sway, Jews and Gentiles alike are made alive together by grace through faith; Christ breaks down the dividing wall, creating one new humanity and building believers into God’s dwelling.

Paul explains his stewardship of the revealed mystery: Gentiles are fellow heirs; he prays that the church be strengthened to comprehend the vast dimensions of Christ’s love and be filled with God’s fullness, praising Him who can do beyond all we ask.

Children and parents, slaves and masters receive Spirit-guided instructions; believers must put on the full armor of God to stand against spiritual forces, praying always, and Paul closes with news of Tychicus and a benediction of peace, love, and grace.
