you will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint."},{"verseNumber":6,"text":"From the sole of the foot even to the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrefying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment."},{"verseNumber":7,"text":"Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with fire: your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers."},{"verseNumber":8,"text":"And the daughter of Zion is left as a cottage in a vineyard, as a lodge in a garden of cucumbers, as a besieged city."},{"verseNumber":9,"text":"Except the LORD of hosts had left to us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like to Gomorrah."},{"verseNumber":10,"text":"Hear the word of the LORD, you rulers of Sodom; give ear to the law of our God, you people of Gomorrah."},{"verseNumber":11,"text":"To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices to me?
